Ms. Lisa Darlington To All Instructors
I have been an adjunct instructor in Business at SCC since 2009, with a long hiatus to nanny our first grandchild. The best, but hardest job I've ever had!
Prior to my time at SCC I was an economic and demographic researcher in the Bureau of Business Research at UNL, the Research Director for the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, and I did periodic data management and communications consulting. I have also had the opportunity to teach Microsoft classes for Continuing Education at SCC, including Excel, which is the best software program ever created.
I have participated in and taught women's ministry studies at Faith Bible Church for 20+ years, and somehow recently find myself teaching for children's ministries. I also play the keyboard on the Worship Team and sing in choir.
My husband Dave Johnson is an architect and all around super human. We have five adult children and four utterly perfect grandchildren. We recently built on and moved ourselves and our growing herd of very hungry horses to 20 acres outside of Walton. It's hard work but seeing the Lord's glorious greeting in the sunrise and gentle reassurance in the sunset makes all the back pain worthwhile.
