Ms. Shayli Wilkinson To All Instructors

Hi! My name is Shayli Wilkinson, and I’m so excited you’re here! I grew up in Lincoln before moving to Southwest Nebraska in middle school, where I graduated from McCook Senior High. In May of 2024 I graduated Summa Cum Laude from UNK with my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in marketing and management. In May of 2025, I completed my Master of Business Administration from UNK.

In January of 2025, I moved back to Lincoln to work for the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance as a Digital Asset Examiner Specialist. I’m passionate about education, continual learning, and trying new things. I’ve been fortunate to foster great relationships with my teachers through every stage of my educational journey. My passion for everything numbers-related started in 4th grade when I had a passionate math teacher who loved Jesus and her students with her whole heart. Throughout my collegiate journey, I had two professors who strongly influenced my academic and professional life and who became close friends. I want to bring the same passion and excitement to teaching that I have experienced from teachers who have loved me through all the challenges of education.

I was raised in a Christian household where Faith and Family were the two most important things. These values have shaped and continue to shape who I am. I hope to be the kind of teacher that students can look up to and look back on their time in my class and know that I cared about them.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Cole, playing frisbee golf, mini golfing, working out, cooking/baking, and I especially love reading. I’m excited to embark on this teaching journey and thrilled I get the opportunity to share my passion for Jesus, numbers, and learning. I hope to see you in my class!
